I recently found your webiste off a link from the blog. I love your blog! I have been vegan for almost 3 years but have never really tried raw food. I have found so many recipes I want to try from your blog – thanks for helping me expand my horizons!

I also voted for you in the contest – those brownies look yummy. I want to make them but wasn’t sure where to get lucama powder or cocoa butter – is there a substitute for these? Thanks again – hope you win the contest!

Hi Sue! Thanks so much for your kind comment! I love hearing that I’m helping to expand your horizons, even though you were already vegan ๐Ÿ˜€

Thank you very much for the vote, as well. As far as those items go, I get mine at (they have HUGE selection of almost everything under the sun, plus low prices and fast shipping). However, in the meantime, you can feel free to substitute 2 Tbsp palm/coconut sugar OR brown sugar for the 1/4 cup lucuma powder, and replace the 2 Tbsp cacao butter with an equal amount of additional coconut oil (so you’ll end up putting in a total of 6 Tbsp of coconut oil). The flavors will be a tad different, but still delicious!
